A news report from Year 2 on the Great Fire of London

15th February 2016 | Key Stage 1

In Topic this term, Year 2 have been learning about the Great Fire of London.  We learnt about the way it started, how it spread so quickly and how it was eventually put out. We also learnt about Sir Christopher Wren who helped to redesign London and many of the buildings in it.

We then created our own news report and interviewed some of the people of the time, including King Charles II and Samuel Pepys.

Great fun was had by all and the boys learnt a great deal.

Well done on excellent work 2S!!
