Computer programming with Year 3

Elmhurst School for Boys

In their ICT lessons and as part of the new computing curriculum, Year 3 have enjoyed working on their own programming projects.

The boys have been using programming tool, Scratch, to create scripts and bring their animated characters (‘sprites’) to life.

“I like putting people to fight each other on Scratch, like the Wizard which is going to shoot or ‘vanish’ the amazingly fast bat. I also like using Scratch because it is fun and you can make how many sprites you want.” Joshua and Jayden
