Elmhurst School for Boys

Read a report from the U11A Rugby Team, following their first game of the season against Trinity School, on 14th January:

U11A Rugby
Elmhurst v Trinity School match at Trinity

On a freezing afternoon, the Elmhurst U11A team travelled to Trinity to play their first game of the season. Elmhurst started off very slow and needed some encouragement from Mr Harrington.

After Trinity scored two quick tries, Elmhurst realised they were up against a very strong opposition, but the boys never gave up and came back to score a try.

With spirits lifted, the boys starting playing well and could see the team spirit picking up. We really tried hard in the 2nd half and never gave up tackling.

Considering this was our first game of the season we must be very proud of our ourselves and take away all the positives from the game into future games. We lost this game but all the boys played extremely well.
