Year 1 Present their The Rainforest Rock at Assembly

This week, Year 1 had their class assembly on 'Amazon Rainforest'. They recited their own class poems, which they had been been working on.

The special list poem, had a word pattern: WOW word+noun+ing word.

White parrot flying (William)
Enormous anaconda eating (Jojo)
Fast jaguar running (Rayan)
Blue snake slithering (Cameron)

Michel Black bats flying
Rishi Blue monkey swinging
Joshua Spotty leopard roaring
Joel Colourful butterfly swooping.
Ayan Poisonous frog bouncing.
RuShayne Bad anaconda sneaking.
Christian Blue monkey swinging.
Maadhesh Furry eagle flying.
Cyrus Underground snake slithering.
Ishaan Stinky treefrog jumping

This week, we have also met Paddington Bear from Peru and shared marmalade sandwiches with him.

We look forward to following our intrepid explorer 'Norman' to North America next half of term and celebrating Thanksgiving!
