Year 3 have been doing lots of work about Pyramids

Elmhurst School for Boys

11th December 2015 | Key Stage 2

We have role played the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb by Lord Carnarvon and Howard Carter, and leant about the people who designed and built the Pyramids.

They have made models of a square based pyramid from a net and made triangle based pyramids using marsh mallows and cocktail sticks.

Finally at Forest School some of the boys managed to construct a square based pyramid from sticks, using the special knots that they had learnt to tie.
