Year 4 practise public speaking and presentation skills

Elmhurst School for Boys

17th November 2014

Year 4 recently enjoyed presenting to the Upper School, on their Geography topic: the Amazon Rainforest.

Year 4 presented on the following:

- The geography
- The layers of the rainforest
- The plants and animals found there
- Deforestation
- Tribes of the rainforest

The boys have an increasing knowledge of this diverse environment and were excited to share this with the Upper School.

The activity provided a great opportunity for the boys to practise their presenting skills when speaking in public, which is something we are keen to encourage and develop at Elmhurst.
