Year 5 Trip to Museum of London Docklands

Elmhurst School for Boys

16th October 2015 | Key Stage 2

On Thursday 8th October 2015, Year 5 went on a school trip to the Museum of London Docklands.

The purpose of the trip was three fold; to give the boys an experience of travelling through London on public transport; for the boys to learn about the history of London and its role in the Slave Trade; to experience the culture of eating out in a Spanish Restaurant.

All in all, the trip was considered a resounding success by the boys, Mrs Neagu and Mr Padfield and Mr & Mrs Heath-Pampin who supported the trip by coming along to assist with the supervision and safety of the boys.

We hope you enjoy the recount reports by the boys and the photos taken on a day when the weather was very kind to us. So kind indeed, that we were able to enjoy our Spanish Tapas lunch on an outside table!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr and Mrs Heath-Pampin and the EFA for their support on this trip.

Mr Padfield & Mrs Neagu
