Elmhurst's Forest School programme provides boys from Little Elms through to Year 6 with the opportunity to expand their learning beyond the classroom and to explore their natural surroundings.
All children love exploring and understanding the natural environment, so providing dedicated outdoor learning experiences every week via our Forest School programme ensures the boys remain enthused and engaged long after the activity has taken place. This helps the boys to embark on all other areas of their learning with enthusiasm, helping to build their confidence and self-esteem.
Our Forest School sessions aim to develop each boy’s appreciation and respect for nature, but also provide invaluable opportunities for developing problem-solving skills, initiative, co-operation and physical development.
