Year 4 write the story of Steve Rodgers

Elmhurst School for Boys

4th March 2016 | Key Stage 2

Using the Origin Marvel picture book and the film trailer, Year 4 developed the opening, build up and conclusion of the Steve Rodgers story. They focused on developing the characters through description by using a variety of simple, compound and complex sentences to create comic strip effects. They also chose words and phrases to add shades of meaning and add interest. This led to exciting, powerful stories that gripped our readers!
