13th July 2016 | Early Years
International Day really was an inspiration to the whole of the Elmhurst Community this year! In a time of uncertainty in the world, it gave us all the opportunity to celebrate what Elmhurst really stands for: open-mindedness, celebration and respect for diversity. Hooray!
Thank you to everyone for all your hard work in making it such a success. A special thank you to Rohan's (R) Mum and Dad for their energetic Indian street games, Romil (Y1) and Ishaan's (Y2) Mums for fantastic superhero Mendhi patterns, Rishan (Y1) and Savith and Thushan's (Y1 & 4) Mums for beautiful Sri-Lankan lanterns.
The staff all displayed their many hidden talents with a wonder of different activities including:

The assembly was an amazing spectacle of colour, music and dance, and then all these lovely ladies swung into action with the Food Fiesta. AMAZING! Thank you for all the food and for your organisation. Click here to view photos of International Day.
