A Forest School Picnic with Reception

At Forest School last week, Reception were lucky enough to be joined on their adventures by some of their parents. The sun was shining, the fairies welcomed us into the forest and we had a beautiful afternoon in the woods.

We set up camp and had a lovely picnic together. We then built fairy houses, dragon traps, a house for the three little pigs and we cooked up a storm in our famous mud kitchen, serving up some yummy chocolate soup, ant jelly and mud cakes!

We had the chance to light our own fire with Mrs Mawanda (our resident fire starter) and roasted tasty marshmallows and even made some delicious bread with jam.
