Anti-Littering Poster Competition Winners

Elmhurst School for Boys

15th January 2016

On 16th December 2015 both Lucas Coster (3B) and Ethan Campbell (4F) were part of a group of six primary school children who went on a trip to Scotland Yard after winning the Anti-Littering Poster Competition organised by the Croham Neighbourhoold Team.

The children were photographed by the New Scotland Yard iconic revolving sign, presented with a certificate by the Croydon Commissioner, had a lovely lunch - including cakes and had the opportunity to talk to the police officers in a relaxed and informal manner which they thoroughly enjoyed.

To round off the afternoon the Team revealed another part of the prize which was a surprise for the winners (as well as the parents) they will attend a special day out at the Met's Marine Support Unit, which polices the River Thames - how exciting!
