Year 2 enjoyed a recent ICT lesson with Mrs Gogineni, where they were introduced to computer programming.
Mrs Gogineni gave a demonstration of the ‘Bebot’ - what it is and how it can be programmed. The boys were then able to have a go themselves, using the iPad to program the Bebot and direct it around the room. They even tried directing it to different boys in the class!
Year 2 then split off into small groups to try a bit of problem-solving, guiding the Bebot in between piles and books and other obstacles.
When they weren’t busy with this teamwork challenge, the boys used the computers to play their favourite new programming game, ‘Candy Quest’.
