In 2019, we took part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge for the first time and helped the community of Chigumukire rebuild their secondary school. We're taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge again this year and our campaign goes live in just over one week. Any donations from 12pm on 1st December to 12pm on 8th December via our Big Give webpage will be doubled. That means you can double your impact!
Donations this year will help the youngest children in Malawi, making sure that they get a happy and healthy start to their education. All funds raised will go to support our childcare centres, which provide pre-school education, nutrition and health care in disadvantaged rural communities in Malawi.
'It takes a village to raise a child' - African proverb
Our childcare centres are run by community volunteers who do everything from cooking the daily meal, keeping the centre clean, growing crops to provide healthy meals for the children and providing fun play-based education activities. We provide training and resources to help the volunteers provide the best possible experience for children.
