Pupils, staff and parents have raised over £360 from their latest fundraising endeavour, organising a cake sale for Macmillan's ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ on Friday 26 September.
Homemade cakes were sold on the day and everyone was delighted to beat the fundraising total achieved last year.
Charles South, Headmaster at Elmhurst School, said “We are very pleased to have supported Macmillan again this year, with our Elmhurst Cake Sale and the boys have all enjoyed making their donations, in the knowledge that they are helping others. Fundraising and learning about charities is an important part of life here at Elmhurst and our pupils really benefit from understanding the needs of those less fortunate than themselves.”
