8th May 2014
Elmhurst’s International Day is set for Tuesday 1st July 2014.
The boys will spend the day taking part in various activities around the school and we have lots of fun sessions lined up. There will be cooking, arts and crafts, drumming, sports and even some dancing. Normal lessons, including swimming, will not be held on that day.
We will finish with a Show and Tell Assembly where the boys can share their experiences and find out what each group has been up to.
In the afternoon we will be holding the International Food Fiesta. We invite you all to bring some food in to share with our whole school community. We welcome families to bring pictures, artefacts and flags from their cultures and countries to decorate the food tables too.
We would like to encourage all boys to come dressed in national costume, traditional or smart clothes on International Day.
More details will be circulated nearer the time and we look forward to another fantastic International Day at Elmhurst School!
