Elmhurst's 'A' team launched their defence of the Croydon Cup with a comprehensive win over Norbury Manor by 111 runs.
Elmhurst batted first and were really well placed as Amrith Muhundan and Raul Unnithan put on 100 for the first wicket. Both boys also scored their maiden 50's as well during the course of their innings.
Although the Elmhurst innings fell away near the end with the fall of 4 quick wickets Emhurst finished on 136 for 4.
Norbury Manor then subsided, in the face of a strong bowling attack, to 25 all out.
Krish Patel ended with figures of 3 wkts for 9 runs; Ollie Shelton had figures of 4 overs, 4 maidens, 3 wkts for 0 runs; Raul Unnithan 1 wkt for 4 runs; Krishan Shah 2 wkts for 0 runs.
