Last term in Drama Club, the boys wrote and directed their own mini plays based on the theme of a haunted house at Christmas. Parents came to watch and enjoyed a glass of wine and a mince pie.
This term we are starting work on an action comedy. We have been looking at the importance of comic timing and how to tell a good joke, and how to choreograph action sequences.
The boys enjoyed watching some clips of the master himself Jackie Chan and we are currently experimenting with using everyday props to defend ourselves and how to make a fight scene look realistic without making any contact!
The Drama Club at Elmhurst is open to all boys in Years 3-6. New members welcome.
