10th May 2019 | Key Stage 2
Congratulations to the five Elmhurst pupils who were invited to participate in the final round of the Pangea International Maths Competition.
At the end of February, all boys from Years 4 to 6 had the opportunity to take part in the online International Maths Competition. Pupils from 21 European countries took part in the competition which seeks to “cultivate a love and appreciation for mathematics among talented students." The children were invited to solve 20 challenging and brain-teasing problems, in just 35 minutes.
Our mathematicians performed admirably in the competition, resulting in five boys being invited to London on Saturday 4th May for the final round of the competition.
Well done to Dylan M, Narein M, Rishi B, Aiden P and Nathan H who were in the top 150 pupils out of 3,2000, with Rishi B awarded Bronze and Narein M awarded Silver.
Thank you, boys! You made me one of the proudest teachers in the world.
