Small Report on Lower School Sports Day:

On 23rd June 2017, the lower school took part in their annual sports day. The day began with a carousel of activities, from balancing, obstacle courses, egg and spoon races and even a race involving water. Each activity was 5 minutes and the boys had to collect as many points for their house as possible. Every single child got the chance to collect points for their team and cheer on their peers. After the carousel, Little Elms came down to the field and took part in an obstacle course and a race with their year 6 buddies. Then the running races started, every boy ran against the other boys in their house and year group and then the fasted boy from each race was selected for the final. Some of the races were so close we had to go to a photo finish! Next came the event everybody had been waiting for - the parents race! It was clear that some parents have been practicing their sprinting technique.  Finally the boys were awarded with certificates for participating and bronze, silver and gold medals. The day ending with a picnic and BBQ on the grass. It was such a lovely day! Thank you to everybody who came to support the children.
