In Geography, Year 6 have been learning about natural disasters and specifically the Haiti earthquake. They have been examining the causes and impacts of the earthquake and are using this information to create a newspaper article about this natural disaster.
In ICT, Year 6 have been putting their knowledge of programming into practice by creating their own animations using Scratch software. We are also piloting a very exciting and new initiative where students will be able to complete ICT related tasks online using 'Edmodo'. This will enable students in Year 6 to develop their collaborative learning skills from home.
