14th December 2017 | Key Stage 1
Congratulations to our 'Golden Ticket' winners, chosen by their class teachers for their hard work this term and for setting such a positive example to others.
The winners were:
We had such a fun morning selecting our Christmas tree for the school. Thank you to all the boys and a big thank you to Barry, Miss Krispy and Miss Paris for coming with us, and to Randall for keeping the tree safe in the School Hall.
Rau (Year 1), Charlie (Year 1) and Arien (Year 2) wrote the following report together:
First we had a biscuit and a hot chocolate in a special cup. Then we went on the bus and we sung songs like 'We Wish you a Merry Christmas'. When we got there we walked around and chose a Christmas tree. Barry cut it down and we tried to put it in the bus but it was very hard! We didn't think the bus was smaller than the Christmas tree! We had to push and push and push! We got it in when we worked together. We got back to school and it started to snow! It was hard to get the tree out but we did it. We decorated it the next day. It is the tallest Christmas tree ever! What we thought about the day:
Rau - "It was very nice!"
Arien -" It was brilliant!"
Charlie - "It was fantastic!"
