On Wednesday 18 March, the UK Government announced the closure of all schools due to the coronavirus pandemic. The our staff at Elmhurst School for Boys have been working closely with our colleagues across the Bellevue Group of schools to proactively ensure all the virtual learning tools are in place to ensure continuity of education for our pupils and all pupils across the group. The first day of virtual learning started on Monday 23 March, and will be in place until further notice and advice from the UK Government.
We wanted to ensure that our close-knit Elmhurst Community continued at home with parents. With this in mind, we introuced our six simple rules for a 'Happy Elmhurst at Home':
