5th October 2018 | Early Years
On Wednesday 3rd October, Elmhurst School celebrated Harvest and for the fourth year running, marked the day with a collection of goods for the Croydon Refugee Centre.
Parents, pupils and staff kindly donated toiletries and tinned and packaged foods, and our challenge was to fill the school minibus with donations.
The Croydon Refugee Centre were overwhelmed by the generous response from the Elmhurst community and after our delivery was made, the centre served a meal to 120 refugees, from 16 countries.
Thank you for all your kind donations.
