Harvest donations for Croydon Refugee Centre

Elmhurst School for Boys

6th October 2017 | Early Years

Thank you so much to the whole Elmhurst Family for all your extremely generous donations for the Croydon Refugee Centre. For the third year running we filled the minibus!

We also had a wonderful Harvest assembly on Wednesday. Lower School sung a beautiful song led by Mrs Laurent about all the types of fruit and vegetables that are harvested. We then spent some time reflecting on how lucky we are to have food and how some people are not sure where their next meal is coming from. We watched a film with children from across the world explaining what it is like to be a refugee and the homes they have had to leave. We finished with some African dancing led by Year 3 and Miss O'Sullivan.
