Elmhurst School for Boys

6th December 2013

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 enjoyed performing their Christmas plays this week, with a dress rehearsal for their fellow Elmhurst pupils on Wednesday, followed by two performances to their families.

Class 1P wrote about how they felt when they performed Ralph the Reindeer with Reception:

"When I saw all the faces I felt nervous a little bit. At the end I was brave. I thought on the stage when we did 1,2,3 lift off, it was cool." Morgan A

"I was happy because everyone was watching me." Aral O

"I was scared when the angels came to the show." Reuben N

"I yawned when I heard the soft music because I was sleepy." Lucas C

"I liked Solomon’s performance because he was doing good singing." Nate O

"The play was fantastic. I saw Louis. I liked the angels in the Year 2 play." Joshua C

"I was feeling scared because there was so much people. The best bit was when Solomon sang his song." Ryan P

"I was nervous and when we went on I felt brave and I felt brilliant and I loved my lines." Chukwuemeka O

"I felt great because I just felt great. I felt amazing. I felt wonderful because I remembered my lines. I was scared because people were watching me. I loved it." Solomon M

"I liked it when all the eight reindeer lifted off." Samanyu S

"When I did my lines I felt great because I felt happy. I liked the Year 2 play. I liked the first song." Kartik N
