On Friday 18 October Reception enjoyed a trip to Croydon Library and Surrey Street Market.
The boys reflect on their experiences:
“I liked riding in the mini bus there because I went in Palmer’s bus.” –Ali
“We walked to the market. We bought cucumber and broccoli. We paid for it with £2.”- Jack
“At the library we picked up some books and then we went to the market.” –Rohan
“I made a potato head man. I made a very big nose out of a tomato and used carrot for his eyes. We made fruit kebabs in a pattern.”- Alan
“I liked buying cauliflower with my dad at the market. We made potato heads with them.”- Michel
“I saw some books in the library then after that I went in the mini bus to come back for lunch. Then after that we came back to class.”- Joel
“I liked buying fruits from the market.”- Shéa
“I liked everything. I loved it! I liked the library because it was so beautiful.”- Ishaan
“I liked choosing the books.”- Jojo
“I liked to get books from Croydon library. Then we went to the market and bought some things.”- Niyam
