Reception visit Chessington World of Adventures

Elmhurst School for Boys

24th June 2016 | Key Stage 1

On Tuesday 14th June, Reception went to Chessington World of Adventures! We all had a brilliant time and managed to fit in a lot whilst there. Although we had a little rain we still managed to do everything that we planned and the boys were really sensible and made all the staff proud!

We started the day by visiting the animals in the animal kingdom where we saw gorillas, monkeys, lions, tigers, fossas and many more. We then saw an amazing Panda show where the boys were able to take part. Fionn helped to ‘blow’ up the camp where the pandas live and make the pandas appear. What fantastic creatures! We then did a surprise trip to the Bubble Works. Miss Maple and Mr Whiting were more excited than the boys. Lunch was the next stop and then a short Sea Lion show where the boys threw fish into the water for the Sea Lions to eat. After this we went on the Zufari ride where the boys saw some more animals, Giraffes, Rhinos, and Pink Flamingo.  The Sea life centre was our next stop and then back to school.
