13th June 2014
On Wednesday 11th June, Miss Dawson, Miss Boniferro, Miss Wilks, Ms Self and Mrs Hodge ran 5km in the Race for Life at Battersea Park to raise money for Cancer Research.
It was a hot and humid evening but the atmosphere and support from the crowd helped everyone round the course and through the finishing line.
Every two minutes in the UK, someone is told that they have cancer. As the population grows and ages, the number of cases continues to rise. Research is needed to help find ways of preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.
If you would like to sponsor the Elmhurst Ladies and support Cancer Research you can make a donation through Just Giving, here.
Thank you to everyone for their support and well done to the Elmhurst Ladies team.
