Super busy week for Reception Boys

We have been very busy this week in Reception Class.  We have been reading the book ‘Supertato’.  All our learning has been based on this book.  Supertato trapped some peas in poisonous jelly, we investigated different ways to save the peas without touching the poisonous jelly, we tried and tested different ways.  We decided that using tweezers would be the best way of saving the peas.We have been consolidating our knowledge on adding. We have been learning what estimation means.  We estimated how many Brussel sprouts were in the jar.  There were 25. We have also been making our own Supertato.  We did this completely independently.  We had lots of fun doing this.
