In Maths, the boys have been rounding off their learning this term on fractions and decimals, by working in pairs to produce posters.

Last Thursday, Year 5 enjoyed their Performance Poetry evening to parents. The boys performed individually and in groups and did a wonderful job of presenting their poems to a packed hall of proud parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters. One of the highlights was 5H’s rendition of “I am walking my iguana”.

Finally, the results of the Year 5 Spelling Duel have now been decided. The surge by 5H was not enough to stop 5P winning the class spelling prize of a giant packet of Haribos. Spring term sees the start of the next class challenge...come on 5H!
