Winners of Super 6 Cricket tournament at Caterham

Elmhurst School for Boys

20th May 2016 | Key Stage 2

The Super 6 cricket tournament at Caterham took place last Saturday 14TH May. The school was represented brilliantly as the boys put on a superb display in all areas. Oliver and Henry dominated the first game hitting over 50 runs. The second game followed the same pattern with some great batting from Aarush and Maliq while Zayan and Neal went from strength to strength with their bowling. The 3rd game was more of a challenge and we had to rely on some great fielding, managing to get Caterham, the hosts, all out for fewer than 10 runs. This set up a winner takes all game against Hawthorns as both sides were undefeated. It looked to be a tough game in the first over but when Aarush and Henry got going we took a commanding lead of 83 runs. After some great bowling and fielding again we managed to keep Hawthorns down enabling us to lift the trophy with a record of: Played 4 – Won 4.
