Year 2 boys make Mum Medals for Mother’s Day

Elmhurst School for Boys

24th March 2017 | Forest School

Year 2 boys have enjoyed the start of warmer Spring weather. The Forest School Code of Trust, Respect and Teamwork has continued to encourage co-operation and collaboration, with boys completing a rope challenge successfully. They have been introduced to new tools and used the bow saw and palm drills to make Mum Medals for Mother's Day. The boys showed perseverance in drilling a hole and threading the twine (a task which turned out to be trickier than it sounds).
