13th November 2015 | Key Stage 1
On Tuesday Year Two were learning all about materials in Science. They were each given post-it notes and had to identify and label object made out of one material – we discovered that the slide was made out of plastic, the windows were made out of glass and lots of other objects are made out of more than one material. We then identified how the different materials feel and what qualities they have. For example, we identified that glass is hard and can break easily and metal is hard and cold but does not break easily. It was so much fun exploring the different materials!
