Year 2 learn how to write instructions

Elmhurst School for Boys

14th October 2016 | Key Stage 1

In English, Year 2 have been learning all about how to write and follow instructions and have gained an understanding of imperative verbs. We learnt that imperative verbs are very bossy verbs. In our English lesson we followed a set of instructions and made different types of sandwiches. They were so delicious! We then wrote our own set of instructions telling our friends how to play our favourite game. These instruction contained imperative verbs and time connectives.
