9th December 2016 | Key Stage 1
In Maths, Year 2 have begun learning about division. We have been using counters and skittles to help us understand the process. It was really fun learning to divide using skittles - we divided them into groups and then we got to eat them. It helped us understand the reason we need to learn about division and that division is a useful skill in everyday life. We can now divide lots of numbers using objects to help us and have begun to formally write down the sums.
