On Tuesday 8th July, Year 2 enjoyed a special picnic to introduce them to life in Year 3, in preparation for September.

The Year 2-3 transition picnic was amazing, spectacular and superb! I learnt lots of things about Year 3, what life is like with the teachers and all about the things we will be learning, as well as house points, tallies and negatives, homework and how strict they are!
We met some Year 3 boys who told us about life in Year 3 and we had lots of questions to ask them too. I was talking to my Year 2 and 3 buddies Freddie and Oliver when suddenly we were called for food. I got strawberries, brownies, sandwiches, grapes and a Fruit Shoot. It was all delicious! The tea party was really fantastic and incredible!
