27th March 2014
As part of the whole school topic on Europe, working in groups in their Geography lessons, Year 3 have been making posters about holiday destinations in Europe.
They researched their chosen destinations for homework, then investigated how to travel there, providing directions using 8-point compass points.
The boys then wrote their own scripts and presented their finished posters at an assembly, first to the Upper School, and then to their parents on Europe Day, on Friday 21st March.
Some of the boys felt nervous and shy at the beginning, but enjoyed the applause at the end.
Isaiah said “I was happy when all of the parents clapped.”
Matthew said “I felt happy because there were lots of people watching me.”
