19th March 2015
On Thursday 12th March, Year 4 enjoyed a trip to Hampton Court Palace.
Read Jaylen’s report from the trip:
Hampton court trip
In Hampton court we had an hour session about Henry the eighth.
I saw a picture of Anne Boleyn, Henry’s second wife. I also saw a picture of Henry himself. He was as big as the atmosphere.
I liked learning about Henry because he was very wealthy. I found out that Henry wasn’t fat when he was young, only when he was old.
I bought my mum and dad pens, I also brought myself a ring and the one that I bought was the one everyone kissed.
I bought the pens because it was thoughtful and I also bought them because it added up to exactly £5.00.
I also learnt that Henry was intelligent and that he was a person who loved blood. Henry also came up with a rhyme (divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived).
