In the last two weeks in Year 5 and Year 6, we have been really busy in Maths!We had two Maths Challenges! The first one took part at OLD PALACE School .Four boys represent Elmhurst School in the competition. We came 6th out of 25 schools.
“The experience was amazing. I enjoyed taking some challenges in my pair and working them out” said Andrew.
"I enjoyed doing all of the activities as they were not easy” Akbar .
“My experience at Old Palace was very enjoyable because the questions were very intense” (Matthew).
"It was a real pleasure to represent the school in a Maths competition. It was really fun!!”( Isaiah)
The second one was the Primary Maths Challenge and three year 6 boys scored high marks and now we are waiting to see if they qualify in the next step.
