Year 5 boys enjoy ‘The Railway Children’

Elmhurst School for Boys

9th December 2016 | Key Stage 2

Year 5 had an early treat this Christmas as they visited Kings Cross Station on Wednesday 7th December to watch a performance of ‘The Railway Children’. The long journey into and out of London was more than worth it for the wonderful production and sights of London that we saw.  Probably the most exciting part of the show was the appearance of a REAL steam engine. The look on the children’s faces was a complete picture! The Railway Children was a fantastic opportunity to explore older style language which the boys covered as part of their English lessons.
