17th September 2015 | Early Years
Year 6 have had a fantastic start to their final year at Elmhurst. All of them have taken to their new roles as prefects very well and have been very positive with their new buddies.
Our first Buddy Lunch took place on the first Thursday of term and boys in Reception and Little Elms were paired up with the Year 6 boys to read.
The Year 6 boys then took their buddies to lunch and showed the younger boys how to eat with knives and forks, good table manners and how to clear their trays away. They demonstrated maturity and kindness to the younger boys, which exemplifies the ethos of our family school.
We very much look forward to our next Buddy Lunch.
