Year 6 and Early Years enjoy their first Buddy Play

Elmhurst School for Boys

16th September 2016 | Early Years

The Elmhurst buddy system is a great success for both ends of the school.  The younger boys get a mentor, helper and friend to play and learn from and the older boys experience responsibility which is so important to their development before taking their next step into Secondary School.

"It's really fun having a buddy to play with." - Joseph

"It's really fun visiting Stephan and playing with him, but it can be hard because sometimes he wants to play before eating his lunch!" - Arjun

"My buddy wears me out by running around the pirate ship.  I can't keep up with him!" - Eyilayo

"My buddy is really nice but it's hard having hard two buddies.  They're all very happy though." - Oscar (Head Boy)
