Year 6 Boys review their Favourite Books or Computer Games

Elmhurst School for Boys

29th January 2016 | Key Stage 2

Over the past two weeks, the Year 6 boys have been reviewing their favourite books as well as their favourite topic: computer games, which was enthusiastically debated and written about.  Reviewing is an important skill, as it allows boys to develop a critical approach and improves their ability to summarise a plot or basic idea.  The topic leads into other non-fictional writing of newspaper reports and soon the boys will be writing newspaper articles for a school newspaper - watch this space!  In the meantime,  the boys will be honing their article writing skills.
