All good things come to an end

Elmhurst School for Boys

19th October 2012 | Headmaster's Blog

We have been very lucky at Elmhurst to have had Jim Stewart as one of our caretakers.

It was wonderful to see the real affection the boys at school hold for Jim and they all gave him a rousing send off at this morning’s assembly.

Jim leaves Elmhurst today to take a well earned retirement.  It was wonderful to hear the boys thoughts on retirement….from the obvious “getting old”, to having a rest and best of all, immediate entry into a retirement home!

We will all miss Jim and I am sure you will all join me in thanking him for all that he has done at Elmhurst and we wish him and his family all the very best wishes for the future.
