The General Election, whilst important for everyone in Great Britain, has been overshadowed as Elmhurst prepares for its own election!
The candidates for the role of “Headmaster for the Day” have all started their campaigns, with speeches to the whole school in assembly on Wednesday.
Hamzah M, Hari D, George F and Joel P have all made their opening arguments in the hope of attracting votes. Elias, Rishi and Solomon in the Lower School are also standing as candidates to assist the “new” Headmaster on the day.
Elmhurst’s ballot will take place on Election Day, Thursday 7th May, with the result being announced on Friday 8th May 2015.
I haven’t decided what I am going to do for the day when the election winner takes over, obviously I won’t be needed!
