Little Elms Blog: Building the Gruffalo’s House in our STEM afternoon

Elmhurst School for Boys

20th May 2016 | Early Years

As part of their Afternoon Activities programme, Little Elms enjoy weekly STEM sessions and an introduction to elements of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

Little Elms recently read the story of the Gruffalo. They were then set the challenge of designing and building a house for their own Gruffalos to hide in.

The boys had a wonderful afternoon, using materials and methods of their own choice to build some very impressive structures.
