Little Elms Blog: Exploring all things animals

Little Elms had a wonderful time last term exploring all things animal!

The children have been using this theme to explore number, shape, size, quantity and sound. The children especially enjoyed using their new found facts about animals, when completing our ‘quick fire quiz games’ during our adult led activities. The children were also introduced to ‘challenges’ and on completion of 5 challenges (simple but educational directed) won small prizes from our treasure box! During our forest school adventures the children have been learning about the outdoors and how to be safe.

Their 1,2,3 where are you game is a hit, when Mrs. Mawanda calls and gets a loud 1,2,3, were here response from our excited boys. Fire safety has been a new topic and the boys have enjoyed being around the campfire making and eating bread and drinking warm hot chocolate.
