Little Elms Grand Opening

Elmhurst School for Boys

15th October 2015 | Little Elms Blog

What a busy term we have had in Little Elms so far. I can’t believe we are heading into half term already. Last week we had our Grand Opening, and what an occasion it was. We began the afternoon by helping to decorate our area with with balloons and ribbon. The Little Elms then took their places in the front row to sing our Welcome song. The Reception and Year 1 and 2 boys then sang a rhythmic, African version of Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes. A favourite in the Little Elms classroom. Mr South then cut the ribbon, with the assistance of Kobby, and that officially opened Little Elms.

The only thing left was lots of photos for the Croydon Advertiser and plenty of cake. Sorry to all of Year 6 who missed out on a piece. I will supply some at our next ‘ Buddy Lunch.’

Have a happy and safe half term!
