Unbelievably we find ourselves at half term already!
Our Reception children have all settled in so well to the school routines, this half term. Mrs Kent (who has also settled in so well!) and her team of Mrs Urmston and Miss Payne have done a great job in Reception.
The boys have all been active in the sports arena with football teams from U8s to U11s all having taken part in inter-school fixtures. We have also seen the return of cross country, with boys from Year 1 to Year 6 competing.
Our Year 6s have had a busy time with exams, delivering the fantastic minibus collection for the Croydon Refugee Centre, taking on their prefect duties and most important of all being “Buddies” to the younger pupils, for the first time.
The next half of term already looks to be as busy with the approach of the festive season. Our Year 5s are already preparing for their Poetry Evening, our swimmers are preparing for several galas, the Infant School are readying themselves for their Nativity plays and the choirs are starting work on their carols.
Please enjoy the half term break.
